VICTORVILLE – A 24-year-old Victorville woman was airlifted after being beaten and stabbed by her boyfriend on Sunday evening.
The woman and her boyfriend, whose names are being withheld to protect the integrity of the investigation, were involved in a verbal altercation at around 7:25 p.m. The altercation escalated and the male suspect beat and stabbed her multiple times. Deputies from the Victorville station received the report of a domestic disturbance and responded to the 16700 block of A Street to find the Hispanic female victim, severely injured.
A witness stepped in stopping the violent attack. The suspect fled the scene but authorities know his identity. The investigation is ongoing. The woman was airlifted to a trauma center, where she is listed in stable condition.
