Woman Arrested For Unprovoked Stabbing Of Male Family Member

HESPERIA-Sheriff Deputies arrest a female suspect for stabbing a male family member in an unprovoked event.
On Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at approximately 4:09 a.m., Sheriff deputies were dispatched to the 17000 Block of Alder St. in Hesperia. Upon arrival, deputies learned that a male family member was stabbed by a suspect identified as 26-year-old Mistee Kay Howell a Hesperia resident.

The male victim’s stab wound was considered non-life threatening. He was transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment. Sheriff deputies arrested and booked Howell at the High Desert Detention Center on charges of Attempted Murder (PC664/187). Howell’s bail was set in the amount of $100,000.
