RIVERSIDE – Two bicyclists were injured after being struck by a vehicle on Saturday night. At around 11:45 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2017, officers responded to a hit-and-run traffic collision near Jackson and Audrey Streets.
Through investigation, police officers determined that the two bicyclists were traveling in the bike lane when struck by the vehicle, which then fled the scene. Both bicyclists were rushed to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver, Yulissa Estrada, 19 of Riverside turned herself in on Sunday, April 9, 2017, at 6:00 a.m. Estrada was booked into jail on felony hit-and-run charges.
