ANAHEIM – The Anaheim Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify a woman caught on surveillance at the Highland and San Bernardino Walmart Stores cashing stolen MoneyGram Money orders. The incident took place in February when the envelope containing three money orders totaling over $2000 was stolen from an apartment office drop box in the area of Orangewood Avenue and Lewis Street in the City of Anaheim.
The money orders were put in the box by an active duty US Marine and his wife in order to pay their rent. The money orders were cashed the same day that they were stolen, at two different Walmart Stores. Surveillance footage from both of the stores shows the same woman cashing the money orders. The female suspect is believed to be around 30-years-old, 5’5” and around 135 pounds.
