RIVERSIDE – Riverside police responded to a domestic disturbance call on the corner or Calmhill Drive and California Avenue on Sunday evening. As officers arrived at the location they were being flagged down alerting them to a woman injured in the street.
The unconscious woman was located and was suffering from multiple stab wounds. She was transported to the hospital but died as a result of her injuries.
The identity of the deceased woman will be available once her family has been notified. It is unclear if any arrest has been made, information will be updated as it is received.
