Woman Found Dead in Costco Parking Lot After Dog Attack

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – A woman was attacked by three dogs in a Bakersfield Costco parking lot on Sunday morning.

Authorities said that the woman was found deceased with signs of the attack by the two pit bulls and the other, an unidentified mixed-breed dog. Officers responded to the parking lot at 3800 RosedaleHighway in Bakersfield. Two of the dogs were located nearby and taken by animal control to be euthanized.

The cause of the attack is unknown and the identity of the woman has not yet been released.
