TEMECULA – Temecula station police responded to the report of an in-store assault at a CVS Store on Monday evening. Upon arrival at the store located at 31771 Rancho California Road, in Temecula, they located a female with serious injuries from being hit in the head with a bottle.
During the attack, the store employees detained the male suspect, later identified as 31-year-old Temecula resident Brian Eldon Saylor.
Temecula Department detectives and the Central Homicide Unit responded to the scene to conduct an investigation. The victim’s name is not being released until her family is notified.
The condition of the woman or her relation to Eldon if any is unclear at this time, a 24/7 Headline News reporter has attempted to make contact with Riverside County Sheriff’s Department officials to retrieve that information. We will update with that information when it becomes available.
Eldon was booked at the Southwest Detention center for attempted murder. He is being held in lieu of $1 million bail per court records.
