CRESTLINE – A female juvenile was hiking near Camp Seely on the Heart Rock Trail on Saturday afternoon when she lost footing and fell approximately 75 feet.
At around 2:40 p.m. the San Bernardino County Fire Department additional rescue personnel responded to the area to locate the girl. Due to the location of the juvenile, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s helicopter was requested and responded to the scene to hoist the victim out of the area.
The hoist was successful and the juvenile was transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
