YUCCA VALLEY– A man suspected of sexually touching his 13-year-old-daughter was arrested by investigators.
On Friday, March 23, 2018, at around 1:20 a.m., dispatch with the Sheriff’s Department was contacted via a 911 text message. The reporting party a 13-year-old runaway from the Sacramento area stated that her father had inappropriately touched her while she was sleeping.
Deputies were dispatched to the 7200 block of Inca Trail in the city of Yucca Valley in hopes of locating the suspect. The suspect Eddie Lowery a 46-year-old male resident of Yucca Valley was found hiding underneath a mobile home. Lowery was detained, interviewed and later arrested by investigators. He has been charged with Penal Code 288(a)-Lewd acts with a child and booked into the Morongo Basin Jail. Lowery’s 13-year-old-daughter has been placed in the custody of Child and Family Services.
