YUCCA VALLEY, Ca. – A former U.S. soldier, most recently working at the Yucca Valley Home Depot was arrested on Friday for abusing his infant daughter.
Authorities said that the Crimes Against Children detectives were notified that a 4-month-old baby was being treated at the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at the Loma Linda University Medical Center with severe injuries. Hospital staff believe that the injuries to the small child were caused as a result of child abuse.
Through investigation, it was learned that the baby girl was being cared for by her father, 23-year-old, Micah Inman at their home in the 7100 block of Murray Lane in the City of Yucca Valley when the child was injured. Further investigation revealed that Inman caused the injury to his daughter.
On August 31, 2020, Inman was arrested for Child Abuse and was booked into jail. He is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.
