CHINO, Calif. – City of Chino Public Works is working diligently on the installation of an underdrain on Kimball Avenue.
The installation is in response to flooding that occurs between Euclid and Rincon Meadows during rainstorms. The drain being installed will carry stormwater from Airport under Kimball Avenue to prevent this flooding.
Motorists should use alternate routes whenever possible or allow for extra travel time, as only one lane will remain open during the work. Traffic will be flagged through by workers. The work is scheduled to be complete by Friday, March 15, 2019.
