ADELANTO – An Adelanto man was arrested after what appeared to a deputy to a be an illegally dumping in the area of Koala Road and Victor Street.
On Friday, February 3, 2017, Domingo Nunez, 39,was thought to be dumping in the field but upon deputy contact, was determined to be picking trash up. The Victor Valley station deputy checked Nunez for warrants. The deputy determined that Nunez had $200,000 in active warrants.
He was arrested for the warrants and was found to be in possession of 17.5 grams of suspected methamphetamine. Nunez was booked into the High Desert Detention Center for the outstanding warrants and possession of the controlled substance. Domingo was cited and released at 8:30 p.m. on Friday night.
