Adelanto Man Arrested for Making Threats to his Apartment Manager

ADELANTO – A 61-year-old Adelanto man was arrested on Wednesday after allegedly threatening his apartment manager. Deputies from the Victor Valley Station responded to the report of harassment at the apartment complex located at  11775 Bartlett Avenue in the City of Adelanto.

The female apartment manager told authorities that she was being harassed by a tenant, identified as David Miller. According to a news release, Miller followed the manager around the property calling her names and making threats to her. Some of the threats included Miller talking about obtaining the weapons necessary to carry out the threats made to her.

A search warrant was obtained and executed on the suspect’s apartment home on Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at 12:03 p.m. No weapons were located in Miller’s home. Miller was arrested without incident and booked into the High Desert Detention Center for criminal threats and is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
