APPLE VALLEY – A strong-arm robbery occurred at the US Bank located inside the Albertsons Grocery Store located at 20261 CA-18 in the Town of Apple Valley Friday evening. Witnesses told dispatchers that at around 7:17 p.m. the suspect, a Black male adult, went up behind a US Bank employee and grabbed a large yellow US Bank bag.
The suspect then ran westbound into the parking lot toward the Walmart store. The suspect was last seen wearing a red sweatshirt, blue shirt, and unknown color pants. The bank bag reportedly contained customer bank account records. A Sheriff’s helicopter, as well as ground patrol units, conducted an area search for the suspect. As of 8:30 p.m. Friday night the suspect is yet to be located.
