APPLE VALLEY, Calif. – An Apple Valley man was arrested on Monday for an attempted burglary that took place at the High End Smoke Shop, officials said.
On Friday, August 2, 2019, Joel Hosea Albitre, 18, of Apple Valley, allegedly attempted to enter the store located at 22110 State Highway 18 by breaking the front window. Police officials said that he was unable to enter due to security screen door. The damage left by his attempt to break into the store was estimated at $1200.
Through investigation, Albitre was identified as the suspect and was arrested on Monday, August 5, 2019 in the area of Bear Valley Road and Mohawk. Albitre was released from custody on August 6, 2019, just before 2:00 p.m. No court dates are scheduled at this time.
