RIVERSIDE – A 43-year-old Moreno Valley man was arrested for identity theft and drug possession on Thursday evening. At around 7:40 p.m. police responded to the report of subjects trespassing inside a vacant home in the 3300 block of Palm Avenue.
When they arrived, officers located the male suspect, identified as Jimmy Waters. Waters, who was out on Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS) was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, and mail, ID’s and other documents not belonging to him.
Officers contacted those whose names were on the mail and learned that one was a recent victim to mail and identity theft. Waters was arrested and booked into jail for identity theft, possession of drugs and violation of PRCS.
