SAN BERNARDINO – The man responsible for the triple murder at the Superior Liquor on June 8th is behind
bars, officials said. The murder of two men and a 9-year-old boy at the liquor store located at 2950 Del Rosa Avenue shocked the San Bernardino Community. San Bernardino shootings have become all too common in recent months but this crime was different, this shooting took the life of a small child.
San Bernardino County Police immediately took to social media reaching out to Twitter followers with surveillance photos urging those who may recognize the shooter to call with any information about his identity. “This man SHOT & KILLED three people including a 9-year-old CHILD! Enough is enough…as a community, please turn him in,” San Bernardino Police Department Lt. Travis Walker said in a Twitter tweet.
On Thursday afternoon 26-year-old Rialto resident, Trayvon Eshawn Brown was taken into custody at the Fontana Probation office. Brown, who was on Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS) was booked into the Central Detention Center and is
being held in lieu of $1.5 million bail according to arrest records. Brown is scheduled to appear at the San Bernardino County Superior Court on Monday morning for an arraignment hearing.
“The community was key in solving last week’s triple murder,” said San Bernardino Police Department Chief Jarrod Burguan. “Dozens of people called in with helpful tips.”
