HIGHLAND – Authorities are investigating the death of a Highland mother and daughter found deceased in their home on Thursday afternoon. Deputies from the Highland station responded to the home in the 26000 block of Baseline Street at around 1:45 p.m. reference a person down. When they arrived they located Cynthia Ann Martinez, 55, and Jessia Mary Martinez, 34 deceased in the home.
Detectives are investigating the death of the women. Autopsies will be conducted to determine the cause of death. No other information is available for release at this time. The family of the women are asking for financial help to provide the proper funeral for them. A Go Fund Me Account has been started to help raise the funds needed to assist the family in providing a proper memorial service and burial.
