EL MONTE – Authorities are seeking the whereabouts of a male suspect allegedly responsible for the death of his estranged wife and their unborn child.
On Wednesday, August 29, 2018, at around 8:30 p.m., Ana Maria Nunez, 37, was found shot and killed in the 2700 block of Leafdale Avenue in the City of El Monte. As a result, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is looking for Octavio Curiel-Martinez, in connection with the murder. Curiel- Martinez is driving a red 2018 Toyota Tacoma, 2 door, with a chrome utility box in the bed. The California License plate number is 81718L2.
Curiel-Martinez, 36, is described as a 5’7”, 200 pounds, Hispanic man, with brown hair and eyes. He is known to frequent the El Monte area.
