HESPERIA, Calif. – The loved ones of a missing Hesperia man are asking for the public’s help to locate him.
Derek Hernandez, 33, left his home in Hesperia on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at around 11:20 a.m. He said that he was heading to a home near Beech and Hibiscus Avenues in the City of Fontana.
His cell phone has no usage since he has been missing. Also, he has not used any debit or credit cards since he left on March 5th. He did not take his eyeglasses with him when he left, his family said.
All hospitals and jails have been checked and he is not at any of them. His vehicle, a black 2014 Nissan Versa with tinted windows, has not been towed. The license plate on his vehicle is 7GMT652. His vehicle has white scratches across the top of the trunk and has had other body work done.
Derek was unemployed at the time, but was preparing to attend Victor Valley College to get certified in construction. Derek is 33-years-old and his family fears that he may be in danger or that he may already hurt. He is 5’10”, around 200 pounds, he is bald, has a beard, and green eyes.
If anyone sees Derek Hernandez or his vehicle or has any information regarding his disappearance they should call 760-947-1500 with any information.
