VICTORVILLE – Authorities are seeking the identity of an armed robbery suspect who robbed a Victorville Metro by T-Mobile store on Monday.
At around 7:55 p.m. Victorville Police responded to the store in the 16900 block of Bear Valley Road for the report of the armed robbery. When they arrived they learned that an unknown male suspect entered the store brandishing a modified shotgun. “The suspect ordered the employees to give him cash and cell phones,” said Victorville Sheriff’s Spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez. “The employees were ordered to remain in a back room for a period of time to allow the suspect to flee the location.”
The suspect is only described as a tall, slim black man. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a ski mask, a dark-colored sweatshirt, and jeans. Investigators are seeking any information that may be pertinent to the case.
