BLOOMINGTON, CA – Authorities are seeking information that may help to identify and locate a Bloomington murder suspect.
At around 10:58 p.m. deputies from the Fontana Station and emergency medical personnel responded to shots fired call in the 10600 block of Dumond Avenue in Bloomington.
When they arrived they located the victim, identified as Victor Chaparro on the sidewalk near his home suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Authorities attempted CPR at the scene and rushed Chaparro to the hospital, but despite lifesaving efforts, he was pronounced deceased at 11:34 p.m.
Witnesses in the area described seeing a silver or other light colored, four-door sedan speeding away from the area immediately after the shots were fired.
The Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division – Homicide Detail was summoned and responded to assume the investigation.
