BAKERSFIELD, Ca. – Bakersfield Police are asking for help identifying a man who is accused of sexual battery of a juvenile victim.
On September 17, 2019, at around 10:45 a.m. the victim was at the Valley Plaza Mall Target, located at 2901 Ming Avenue. The white male adult suspect is described as 40-45 years old, full light colored beard, and sleeve tattoos on both arms. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored Boston hat, a white button up short-sleeve shirt and blue jeans.
“The suspect posed as loss prevention or undercover law enforcement officer and told the juvenile victim he needed to search her as part of a theft investigation,” authorities said. “The victim went with the suspect to the area of the changing rooms, where he sexually battered her.”
