BAKERSFIELD, Ca. – A 17-year-old male was killed and two others were injured during a stabbing in the City of Bakersfield on Tuesday afternoon.
At around 2:38 p.m. Kern County Sheriff’s Office was called regarding stabbings that occurred in the area of Foothill and Morning Drives. Homicide detectives responded to assume the investigation and determined that a confrontation at the bus stop outside of Foothill High School led to the stabbing.
The 17-year-old male died at the scene as a result of his injuries. Jason Cruz, 23, was stabbed and was booked into Kern County Jail for Murder. A 14-year-old male was stabbed at the scene and was booked into Juvenile Hall for Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
