BAKERSFIELD, Ca. – Kern County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the finding of a destructive device found on Monday morning.
On Monday, September 23, 2019, at around 9:00 a.m. deputies responded to the report of a suspicious device located in the 700 block of North Chester. The Bomb Squad responded and determined that it was, in fact a destructive device. The device believed to be discarded in the area was rendered safe by 10:34 a.m.
