COACHELLA, CA. – One teen and two adults were arrested in the City of Coachella following the report of a robbery.
On Monday, September 23, 2019, at around 4:39 p.m., Riverside County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the City of Coachella for the report of a robbery at a business in the 49000 block of Cesar Chavez Street. The victim reported that three suspects went into the store and fled with items that had not been paid for. The suspects left in a vehicle but were located near Avenida De Platina and Avenue 50, in Coachella.
Deputies attempted to make contact with the suspects but a 15-year-old male suspect got out of the vehicle and fled on foot. The suspect dropped a firearm as he ran.
The juvenile was later apprehended by deputies in a nearby neighborhood. He was booked into juvenile hall for robbery and possession of a firearm. Daisy Sanchez, age 23 of Indio, and Frank Perales, age 28 of Desert Hot Springs, were arrested for robbery and booked into the Indio Jail.
