APPLE VALLEY – Safety, community, and entertainment are only three of the many great things that describe Cadillac Ranch Saloon in the Town of Apple Valley. The now over 10-year-old bar was purchased by mother and daughter team Allison and Sandy Moye and has grown to be the go-to place for those in need of a little fun, food, drinks, and so much more. The bar opened their door in 2006, and are now open 7 days a week, on weekends from 9 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. and weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.
Owner Allison Moye said that the Cadillac Ranch Saloon features live entertainment including karaoke. She said that special events like weddings and fundraisers. “We started raising money for the community in 2009, and have raised well over 150k for locals in need,” said Allison. “We generally focus on cancer, a child’s death, a horrific family tragedy or our personal program, “Shopping with Santa” where we ask businesses and awesome people to sponsor a child for $100. We then take them shopping with Santa and the elves. Allison said that last year Cadillac Ranch “Shopping with Santa” was able to serve 150 kids. “Santa arrived in a fire engine and the kids were transported by cool off-road vehicles, it’s a lot of work, but I have a great team,” she added.
The most recent fundraiser featured a fundraising car wash and a raffle for the Abbott family, who lost a mother and two children in a traffic collision in March. With the support of the community, the fundraiser raised approximately $5300. “The next big one will be June 4th, for the Breda family,” said Allison. “This was the mother and three children killed in a car on Air Base Road, one little girl is still in Loma Linda in very critical condition.”
People come from all over the Victor Valley, Lucerne Valley, and from miles around to enjoy the fun and special days like Taco Tuesday every Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. Allison said that they serve all of the basic appetizer-type foods and pizza, wings, nachos, taquitos, fries, and chicken fingers. Line dancing, live music, karaoke, and pool tournaments are just some of the things that keep Cadillac Ranch Saloon filled with loyal customers. Allison said that many of their customers also enjoy visiting “Bella Rose Boutique”, which is adjacent to Cadillac Ranch where they can find corsets, purses, belts, blingy hats, jewelry and great gifts for both cowboys and bikers.
Cadillac Ranch prides themselves on being a safe establishment. They offer a “Safe Ride” program every day and most areas are free. The bar is open to guest 21 and over, who are wanting to have a great time any day of the week. Don’t miss their world famous Bloody Mary’s! Allison said that no one could duplicate their amazingly delicious Bloody Mary’s.
