RIVERSIDE – One person suffered only minor injuries after her vehicle crashed into the Sears building located in the 5200 block Arlington Avenue on Thursday. At approximately 4:15 p.m. the City of Riverside Fire Department and Police responded to the two-car collision to find one of the vehicles had crashed into the Sears Building.
The driver of the vehicle suffered only minor injuries and was transported to the hospital. The second vehicle was not occupied. There were no other injuries reported as a result of the collision. The Sears building sustained exterior damage and was checked by the Technical Rescue Team and released back to Sears.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation at this time.
