DESERT HOT SPRINGS-An elderly adult male has been reported missing from the South Desert Hot Springs Area.
On March 12, 2018, at around 10:45 a.m., Sheriff deputies with the Palm Desert Station were called to the 18000 Block of Langlois Road in South Desert Hot Springs.
It was reported that a 75-year-old male adult identified as William Ballantine Dorsey had been missing since March 10, 2018, at around 10:00 a.m. Dorsey’s wife the reporting party stated that Dorsey suffers from a mental illness and has gone missing for a few days in the past. Due to Dorsey’s diminished capacity, he is considered an at-risk individual.
Dorsey is described as being a white male adult, 5’11”, 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a long sleeve grey shirt with blue stripes, blue jeans, and brown shoes.
Law enforcement agencies and local hospitals in the area have been made aware of Dorsey’s current status. If anyone has information on the whereabouts of William Ballantine Dorsey they are urged to contact the Palm Desert Sheriff’s Station at (760)836-1600.
