CHINO HILLS – Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a male robbery suspect who robbed a Citibank located in the City of Chino Hills late Thursday afternoon. At around 4:50 p.m. police from the Chino Hills station responded to a silent alarm at the Citibank located at 14808 Pipeline Avenue. When they arrived they learned that a robbery occurred.
Witnesses said that the suspect described as being 5’8 to 5’10, medium build with a medium complexion entered the bank, waited for a while before approaching the teller to hand her a note. The teller read the note and complied with the suspect’s request by handing him an undisclosed amount of cash.
Witnesses did not see a weapon, but the suspect claimed that he had one. He was last seen wearing a grey hat, black shirt, long black shorts, black ankle socks, and black shoes with red laces. The suspect left the bank but it is unclear if he left in a vehicle or on foot.

RANCHO CUCAMONGA – The same suspect also robbed a Rancho Cucamonga Citibank on July 14, 2016, just before 4:00 p.m., officials said.
The suspect also used a handwritten note to demand cash to the teller who complied with his demands. The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and ran from the bank. It is unknown if the suspect ran to a vehicle or fled on foot after the robbery.
