EASTVALE – A 25-year-old Eastvale man robbed a 14-year-old boy at the Baskin Robbins in the 7000 block of Archibald on Sunday.
Just before 2:00 p.m. Ricardo Gonzalez approached the boy with a knife and demanded his cell phone. He grabbed the phone and quickly fled from the scene. Shortly after, Gonzalez was located approximately one block away with the victim’s cell phone in his possession.
Authorities performed a record check on the suspect and he was found to be on active parole for an unrelated robbery. Gonzalez was arrested for robbery and a parole violation and was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center.
