Excessive Speed Believed to be a Factor in Fatal Crash

FONTANA, Calif. – Fontana Police believe that the driver of the Cadillac CTS was speeding when he crashed into the back of a tractor trailer on Monday.

At around 6:17 p.m. police were dispatched to Slover Avenue and Commerce way for a major injury traffic collision. When they arrived a 31-year-old Ontario man was determined to be deceased at the scene. The investigation into the cause of the collision closed the street for around 7 hours.
