Family Asking for Help to Locate Missing High Desert Woman

MORONGO BASIN – A 32-year-old woman left the Morongo Basin area on March 14, 2017, to visit a male friend in Colorado, the last communication she had with family was on April 15, 2017, authorities said. Krista Bowman left for her trip in a Toyota Avalon and was in contact with her family via Facebook, but has not made contact with them since.

Bowman is known to frequent Arizona, New Mexico, and Wyoming. She is described as being a White woman, with hazel eyes and brown hair. She is 5’7” tall and weighs approximately 125 pounds. Anyone who has had contact with Bowman, or has information regarding her whereabouts, is urged to contact the Morongo Basin Station, Detective E. Popa at (760)366-4175 or (760)956-5001.
