CHINO HILLS, Ca. – A 31-year-old female pedestrian was struck and killed while walking in Chino Hills on Saturday night.
At around 8:45 p.m., deputies from the Chino Hills Police Department responded to Eucalyptus Avenue and Galloping Hills Road for a vehicle versus pedestrian collision. When they arrived they found a female who was badly injured and was rushed to the hospital where she died as a result of her injuries.
The 24-year-old female Chino Hills driver, remained at the scene. Alcohol and/or drugs do not appear to be a factor in the collision. Deputies with the Sheriff’s Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team responded to the scene and are completing the investigation.
