FONTANA – A Fontana man was released on bail after being arrested for the possession of child pornography on Tuesday afternoon.
At around 12:30 p.m. the Fontana Police Department Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) served a search warrant in the 9200 block of Citrus Avenue in the City of Fontana. During the search of the home, belonging to suspect Salvador Venegas, 63, pornographic images of children were located on his electronic devices. Venegas later apprehended Venegas and booked him into the Fontana Police Department. He was later transported to the West Valley Detention Center, where he posted bail and was released early Wednesday morning.
