RIVERSIDE – Four vehicles are a complete loss Saturday morning after a traffic collision that sent all four up in flames. The City of Riverside Fire Department said that the incident occurred just before 4:00 a.m. near University Avenue and Locust Street.
The Riverside City Fire Department, the Riverside Police, and AMR responded to the multiple vehicle traffic collision with fire. When they arrived they found the vehicles fully involved in fire, caused by a traffic collision. All parties were out of the vehicles and escaped injury. Four other vehicles were damaged as a result of the collision. No structures were damaged.
Fire officials said that one suspect has been detained, but could not verify if it was DUI related at this time.
