BARSTOW – A Victorville woman was arrested in connection with an armed robbery at the Tanger Mall In the city of Barstow last week authorities said.
On Friday, July 29, 2017, at around 8:35 p.m. Barstow Police responded to the Tanger Mall located the 2700 block of Tanger way reference the report of an armed robbery.
When officers arrived they made contact with the victim who stated that the two men pointed a gun and struck him in the face with it. They demanded his personal property including several thousand dollars in cash as well as numerous items that he had purchased at the Coach Outlet Store. The victim told authorities that a female subject, later identified as 26-year-old Victorville resident Isis Womble acted as a lookout for the two men and warned them as the outlet security guard was approaching.
The suspects fled but the victim was able to obtain the vehicle description and a partial license plate number on the suspect vehicle. The information provided was broadcasted to the California Highway Patrol and the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department in order to help Locate the suspect vehicle.
The suspect vehicle was located by CHP officers about 40 minutes later as it drove southbound on the I-15 between Barstow and the City of Victorville. The vehicle failed to yield to the CHP patrol vehicle’s lights and sirens. The CHP officer pursued and the driver of the vehicle led officers several miles exiting on Stoddard Wells into a residential area. The vehicle crashed in the area of Dante Street and Juniper Avenue in the city of Victorville. The vehicle was occupied by Womble who was taken into custody without incident.
The victim positively identified both Womble and the suspect vehicle. Womble was placed under arrest and transported to the Barstow police department and subsequently booked into jail for armed robbery. She was released on bail early Thursday morning and has no court appearances scheduled at this time,
The suspect vehicle was towed to The Barstow Police Department for processing. During processing on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, 46 Coach purses, 37 Coach wallets, and 8 coach belts were located in the vehicle. The firearm used in the robbery was not located and the two male suspects identified as Travon Attison, 29, of Victorville and Jeffrey McCutcheon, 25, of Apple Valley remain at large. The following day warrants were obtained for Attison and McCutcheon for robbery.

Barstow police officials are warning citizens to not approach or contact the suspects. The suspects should be considered armed and dangerous.
