Homicide Detectives Attempting to Identify and Locate Suspects who Killed Barstow Man

BARSTOW, Calif. – No arrests have been made in the shooting murder of a 23-year-old Barstow man.

At around 12:36 a.m., on Monday, June 10, 2019, police responded to a home in the 900 block of Flora Street in the City of Barstow. Police quickly responded to the scene to find Emmanuel Galindo suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers, who were first at the scene provided aid to the victim until paramedics arrived. Barstow Fire Protection District Paramedics responded to the scene and attempted to preserve the life of Galindo. Galindo died as a result of his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Homicide Detectives responded to the scene to assume the investigation. Detectives learned that two unidentified men entered the home of Galindo. They went into his bedroom and shot him before fleeing the scene. The scene was processed for evidence. The area was searched for any potential witnesses.

A Deputy Coroner from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Coroner Division also responded to the scene and assisted Barstow Police investigators.
