YUCCA VALLEY – Deputies from the Morongo Basin Sheriff’s Station responded to the report of a male subject suffering from stab wounds Wednesday morning. Just before 7:40 a.m. deputies were dispatched to the 7600 block of Cibola Trail in Yucca Valley. When they arrived they located the victim’s girlfriend, who reported the stabbing and inside the home they located the man who was suffering from the stab wounds.
The male victim was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical personnel. Deputies were able to collect a possible suspect and suspect vehicle description. Deputies were able to locate the suspect vehicle shortly after and stop the vehicle. The male driver was detained and is at the Morongo Basin Station waiting to be interviewed by Homicide detective.
