MONTCLAIR– Sheriff Deputies along with special investigators arrest three men for operating an illegal Marijuana Dispensary in an unincorporated area of San Bernardino County. Investigators collected evidence consistent with distribution and sales of processed marijuana, concentrated cannabis (THC Wax and THC Oil), marijuana edibles, and cash.
On Wednesday, November 30,2016 at approximately 8:40a.m., a special division of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s department, The Marijuana Enforcement Team executed a search warrant at 5514 W. Mission Blvd. in the City of Montclair. Upon investigation of the location, it was concluded that the business was operating illegally as a Marijuana Dispensary and the three men at the location Michael Allen Comstock age 31 of Canyon Lake, Jeffrey Ernest Larosa age 56 of Garden Grove and, Jonathan Dunlap age 22 of Riverside were arrested without incident by sheriff deputies.
A code enforcement officer conducted an inspection of the property and found several building code violations. A case has been opened by the Code Enforcement Division of the San Bernardino County Land Use Services, and further investigation will be conducted to see if the property owner(s) will be issued a citation or fines for the violations if left unremedied.
Commercial Cannabis activity which marijuana dispensaries, delivery services and cultivation of marijuana all fall under are prohibited in San Bernardino County. The evidence that was gathered by investigators indicates that the three men that were arrested were not in compliance with the California medical marijuana laws and local ordinances. The suspects were booked into West Valley Detention Center in the City of Rancho Cucamonga for violating the county’s ordinance. Other charges may be brought against the suspects at a later date.
