JOSHUA TREE – A 41-year-old Joshua Tree man was arrested for the possession of stolen property which was linked to multiple burglaries authorities said. On Wednesday, February 2, 2017, deputies from the Morongo Basin Station developed information that property belonging to multiple burglary victims was located on a vacant piece of property in Joshua Tree. When deputies located the location, approximately $20,000 in stolen property, including a car trailer, tools, and industrial shop equipment was located on the property.

Through investigation, detectives were led to a home in the 4000 block of Avenida La Manana where additional property was located. The property found was also confirmed to be from the same three burglaries and included an industrial vehicle lift, an industrial grade generator and additional tools and shop equipment. All of the property which had an approximate value of approximately $40,000, has been returned to the appropriate victims.

Jason Arrona was arrested for the possession of stolen property and was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail. He is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.
