JURUPA VALLEY – A 31-year-old Jurupa Valley man was arrested for the theft of construction equipment on Monday sheriff’s officials said.
At around 12:30 p.m. deputies from the Jurupa Station, investigators, and the SET deputies conducted a follow-up investigation at a home in the 5600 block of 34th Street related to a theft of generators and bilge pipes from a construction site located in the 9300 block of Remington Avenue in Eastvale. The theft occurred the same morning authorities said.
The search yielded generators and other construction equipment from the theft. Rodrigo Leon-Huerta, 31, of Jurupa Valley was arrested and booked into jail for the possession of stolen property.
