RIVERSIDE – A 34-year-old Riverside man was arrested while burglarizing a home in the 3600 block of Everest Avenue on Wednesday evening. At around 6:00 p.m. officers from the Riverside Police Department responded to a residential burglary in progress. The reporting party said the suspect was in the backyard of the home.
When they arrived they located the suspect, later identified as Christopher Bellante. Bellante was taken into custody without further incident. Property that was taken from the home was located in Bellante’s possession. He was arrested and booked into jail for burglary.
