SAN BERNARDINO – A San Bernardino man was sentenced today to over 19 years in state prison for a 2014 crash that killed a 13-year-old girl and injured two of her sisters. The collision occurred at the West Rialto Avenue and South Arrowhead Avenue in the City of San Bernardino.
The suspect, identified as 25-year-old Martin Ahmad Mosby was found not guilty of murder by the jury last month. Although he escaped murder charges, Mosby was found guilty of one count of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, one count of leaving the Scene of an accident, two counts of driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage causing injury, and two counts of driving with a .08% blood-alcohol content causing injury and found true on sentencing enhancements for great bodily injury.
