VICTORVILLE, Ca. – An 18-year-old student at a Victorville Charter School was arrested for making criminal threats on Thursday.
At around 11:22 a.m. Victor Valley station deputies responded to Mojave River Academy, located at 12384 Palmdale Road in the City of Victorville. Joseph Narvaes, according to school officials made threatening statements as he left the campus. Deputies responded and interviewed witnesses at the school and also went to Narvaes’s home in the 11900 block of White Avenue in the City of Adelanto. He was located walking to his home and was taken into custody without incident.
Detectives and deputies were given consent to search the residence, no weapons were located. Narvaes was arrested for Criminal Threats and booked at High Desert Detention Center where he is being held in lieu of $50,000.00 bail.
