MORENO VALLEY, Calif. – On Friday night, Moreno Valley Police responded to the area of Ironwood and Moreno Beach for the report of an assault.
When they arrived they learned that a family member had attacked the victim with a knife. The attack led to major injuries. Authorities obtained a search warrant and searched overnight for the suspect. Moreno Valley Police, with the assistance of the Riverside Sheriff’s K9 Team Service
Dogs located the suspect hiding in a nearby yard. He was taken into custody.
Being that the suspect is family to the victim, police are not releasing his identity at this time.
