MORENO VALLEY, Calif. – A Moreno Valley Police officer stepped in to help a distraught mother who was attempting to get her daughter to the emergency room.
Corporal Williams noticed a woman driving into the wrong entrance as she frantically searched for the emergency room of a Moreno Valley hospital on Wednesday. When he approached the woman, he learned that her young daughter had a large cut on her leg that required medical attention. She searched for parking with her other seven children all with her.
In order to help the woman, Corporal Williams calmed her down, pointed out some parking, and he carried the injured child to the emergency room as her mother found parking.
When thanked by his community on social media Corporal Williams just said, “It was my pleasure to help this family.”
