YUCCA VALLEY – Authorities are asking for the public’s help to identify and/or locate two women wanted for a commercial burglary on Tuesday.
At around 3:00 p.m. the victim parked her 2015 Dodge Charger in the Five Star Fitness parking lot. She locked her vehicle and went inside the gym to work out. Before working out the victim placed her personal property inside a locker. Two white women, one pregnant, went into the gym located in 57700 Twentynine Palms Highway in Yucca Valley and signed in as potential customers using fictitious names.
The suspects removed the lock from the locker by disengaging it with an unknown tool. When open, they took the victim’s purse, wallet, and car keys. The suspects stole the victim’s vehicle, which was located near Paxton Road and La Habra Avenue in Yucca Valley. Detectives later learned that the suspects had used the victim’s credit cards at businesses in Yucca Valley and Cabazon. The suspects were seen leaving a store in Yucca Valley in a silver sedan, possibly a Nissan.
The suspects were both white women, one slim build with dirty blonde hair and possibly with a tattoo sleeve on her left forearm. The second suspect was described as pregnant with purple hair.
