HESPERIA – At 29-year-old motorcyclist’s foot was severed in a crash in the area of Old Ranchero Road and C Avenue on Friday night.
At around 11:42 p.m. the man was riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, when for reasons still under investigation, he lost control and struck a telephone pole.
There were no other vehicles involved in the collision and no other injuries reported as a result of the collision, Hesperia station spokeswoman Karen Hunt said.
The man was transported by ground ambulance to the Hesperia Airport where he was airlifted to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for the treatment of his injuries. The motorcyclist remained in stable condition when transported and is expected to survive his injuries.
