One of Three Chino Hills Burglary Suspects in Custody

CHINO HILLS – One of three burglary suspects is in custody and the others remain at large Sheriff’s officials said. On Thursday, January 5, 2017, at around 3:00 p.m. deputies from the Chino Hills station responded to the report of a burglary in the 13000 block of Valley View in the City of Chino Hills. Responding deputies through investigation learned that the suspects entered the home sometime between 7:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. through the unlocked back sliding door.

Deputies were able to obtain surveillance footage from a neighboring home. The footage showed two black women and a black man entering the backyard through the side gate of the home. A short time later, the suspects were shown exiting the home through the front door with property belonging to the victims.

Continued investigation led deputies to a Los Angeles home where a search warrant was served. Property belonging to the burglary victim was located and recovered from the during the search. Alleah Young, 21, who is one of the three suspects was arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center for burglary. She is being held in lieu of $500,000 bail.
